Unit P

I added more pages to my events site and updated all of them. I added some pictures and imported some content. My website is completed!

Unit O

I went through all of Unit O. I had a little difficulty figuring out hot to get my page content beside by sidebar instead of underneath it, but I added some padding in the content div and also set a fixed width and everything worked out. I added an attached image that is also a hotspot link to the main page.

Unit M

I went through unit M in the textbook. I added a dropcap style to my page, as well as a block quote. I changed one of my headings as well. I fixed some of the CSS style sheet as well to make the page look better.

Unit L

I went through Unit L in the real life independant challege section of the textbooks. I added HTML comments before and after my thumbnails.

Unit K

I added a swap image on my Walaroo Hats page which is really cool! I also added the same selection of beads popup message as is in TradeWinds because it was relevant.

Unit J

I added a form to my page asking how people heard about Papaya Island. I didn't send any information but if I did, where would it go?

Unit I

I added a table to my website with the operating hours listed so viewers can know when to come and visit Papaya Island Southport. I added a header bar and a summary as to what the table meant in Expression Web. I had no difficulties.

Unit H

My website is on the way to being published! I am excited that it is finally coming together so that other people besides me can see it and comment on it. I don't feel like I have sufficiently worked on my own website enough, but I can always go back and change things, which I will probably do later. Putting it out on the web will allow the owners of the business to give me input on what they do or do not like, which is what I crave.

Unit G

I went through Unit G very quickly. There wasn't much there to do, but it is nice to know how to format links.

Unit F

I went through Unit F in the textbook. I am ready to really design my webpage and I am excited about adding background colors. It is beginning to look like a real website now. I did not have any problems.

Unit E

I went through Unit E and added some pictures. I am really excited about adding some flair to my site. Pictures make everything better, and as it said in the textbook, for online stores pictures are an essential part of the content. I hope to successfully put up pictures on my site without it being too much. I have found some really good ones though, and I hope to continue adding more.

Unit D

I went through Unit D without any problems. I am glad that the website is finally beginning to come together. I liked learning how to be able to add color and change headings to my preferences.

Unit C

I went through Unit C. I am excited about beginning my own website without a template, and it is starting to have the layout of a website. I had minimal problems.

Unit B

I went through Unit B. It was really interesting to begin to learn how new websites are made from the ground up. I did have some problems with finding files that I had saved, but I eventually figured it out and after that I had no problems.

RLIC- Unit B
a. My three goals are: to create an interest and awareness in my product, to learn how to effectively design an appealing website, and to create a need in the market for my product.
b thru i are N/A on this website

Unit A

I went through Unit A and followed all of the instructions without any problems. Nothing was changed, and I didn't actually print anything to save ink.

RLIC- Unit A
a. Topic: Color Me Happy Clothing Company, audience 12-30 year old shoppers, primarily female
b. http://www.ae.com/ http://www.aeropostale.com/c. AE-Page layout is not cluttered. It is very simple and not too hard on the eyes. The front page is done very well; it encourages you to click more to enter the site.navigation is easy and simple and well planned. The color scheme is blue and green, and the image is of a grils wearing the product.Aero- Same thing except the color scheme is blue and whited. The images and color schemes were well designed, as well as the attraction to get people into the page. The content was all pretty clear. I didn't see anything that really stood out to me that wasn't well done. These are very mature sites.e. http://www.launch.com/ http://www.mtv.com/
f. I think that both the pages are very cluttered and hard to maneuver. There needs to be a more simple layout for both pages. The content is what is expected for the age group, but I do not know how appropriate it is. The age range is wide, and so some things that are approproate for a 30 year old may not be approproate for a 12 year old.
